This is accurate and reasonably priced, but should be mounted on a wall in order to be easily read. It "fades out" when set on a tabletop because it's then at an angle. Seems accurate and we're pleased.

We love our 7-day weather forecaster. We keep it in the master bathroom, so that we can see what the weather is (both currently and for the rest of the week) while we brush our teeth in the morning. The entire screen lights up based on the outside temp (blue=cold, red=hot, etc.). I think that as long as you live in a sizeable city (or decently close by one), then you should be all set. We live in Houston, so not a problem. We bought one as a Christmas gift for my husband's partner, and they love it too. Also, my husband is an avid golfer, so he loves seeing the forecast without having to get online or check his iphone. The fonts and icons are large and clear. We love that the info is transmitted via satellite and for the most part, is pretty accurate.

I have owned this product for over a year now and I like it so well that I have given two of them as gifts this Christmas. Most all other forecasters require a wireless connection to a computer in your home that must be left on at all times. This product obtains all it's information over the radio frequencies available in each area. No connections required, no hassle, no maintenance, no subscriptions, etc. Just make sure you type in the zip code (on line at [...]) where the unit will be located to confirm coverage prior to purchasing.
